What is mortgage life insurance?
Mortgage life insurance is offered by banks and lending institutions to pay the balance of your mortgage if you pass away, have a terminal illness, or suffer an accident.
How does term life insurance cover your mortgage?
Term life insurance helps to cover all your expenses, including your mortgage payments should you pass away.
What is mortgage critical illness insurance?
This enhances mortgage life insurance if you are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
What advantages do I have when transferring assets to next generation?
Assets are:
- received by children tax-free and without attribution
- not subject to probate fees and estate settlement costs
- protected inside a life insurance policy
- controlled until time of transfer

Preferred Plus – You must answer “yes” to all these questions to qualify for this class
1 |
No tobacco or nicotine products within the past 15 years. |
2 |
No more than 2 moving violations within the past 5 years and no “Driving Under the Influence” within the past 10 years. |
3 |
No hazardous occupations or avocations or travel to hazardous areas. |
4 |
No history of felony arrest or drug abuse. Ask about alcohol abuse history after 10 years – some might consider it. . |
5 |
Citizen or residing in the country as a landed immigrant for at least one year. |
6 |
No family history (natural parent or sibling) of a DIAGNOSIS of coronary artery disease, internal cancer or melanoma, stroke or other life threatening hereditary disease prior to the age of 60. |

No history or major health conditions. No history of mental or nervous disorder. |
8 |
Blood pressure (without medication) between 125/75 and 145/90 depending on age. |

The cholesterol/HDL ratio (without medication) must be between 200/45 and 300/6 depending again on age |
